From the Old Custom House Bed & Breakfast Blythburgh you can walk in one of Britain's most important wildlife areas taking in the stunning views across the water and watching a host of birds such as Bittern, Marsh Harrier and wading birds including Avocet, Redshank and Curlew. Surrounded by heath and woodland you are sure to see wildlife not far away.

Holy Trinity Church also known as "The Cathedral in the Marshes" is located just behind the Old Custom House Bed & Breakfast and is of historical interest.
Open to the public it is well worth a visit.
Why not take a stroll, or a longer walk in and around Blythburgh, footpaths taking you to Southwold, Walberswick and surrounding villages.
Blythburgh hosts an up market gastro pub with excellent food and local beverages, The White Hart Inn offers classic pub dishes as well as "The Farmer & Fisherman" restaurant focussing on steak and fish using the best quality and locally sourced produce.
There is a secure lock up and facilities to wash a bicycle for Cyclists wishing to stay on their travels.
